Self-Care Rituals

When you die, the pain is felt by others, not you. The same thing happens when you are stupid.

Good morning people. It's monsoon. For those who didn't know this, the monsoon is the season where people trust each other the most. People are less likely to reject you during rains. So, if you want extra grades on your assignment or you want a promotion, this is your clue. Also, rains cause you to be more self-aware.

Speaking of self-awareness, how about creating a routine for yourself. Something where you can relax and take a break from your fast lives. I would have put meditation first but, we are humans and we are lazy. We have time to criticize our boss and teachers, in fact, that is something you can talk about forever, but we can't really sit for five minutes and listen to that sweet lady or guy who is trying to tell you to close your eyes and focus. So, keeping Homosapien in mind, an alternative to meditation is colouring. And instead of reading arguments of people over a stupid topic try reading a book. Find your favourite genre can be murder, dystopian, self-help, fantasy, or thriller. Just a caution, it can have a high risk of sleeplessness. Books are something that you can't really put down. Next is painting. Now, not many of us are great at that but, it doesn't have to perfect. This is something you are doing for yourself and we have a habit of compromising when it comes to ourselves. It helps to relieve anxiety. And at last, rest and recharge. That can be completed by a nice bath. Put on your favourite jam, sit on your royal seat and wait for your shower to become warm. Light some candles and boom, you are in heaven. Thank me later.

And lastly, remember we are freaks, we are fragile and life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced.
