Use the hard times of past to motivate you today.
Good morning people. Today, we are going to talk about our past. Specifically, the memories. Memories are of two types, the ones that make you smile and the ones that you want to get rid of but, you can't. How about making peace with the second one. Maybe, you are still fretting about a choice you made a long time ago or maybe it's an argument or maybe it's just something you wouldn't be too excited to recall. Also, make sure you are alone while doing this because you don't want to spoil someone's Sunday. Now, take your journal and describe that situation, very precisely. Make sure you are in the right state of mind while doing that. As you begin with the situation, check on your feelings. Is it sadness, anger, anxiety, pain? What is it? Notice those feelings and let them be there. Take some time and think about how the situation could have been different or if you wished it had never occurred. How would the change of that particular event have changed today's perspective? Did the event benefit you? If it did, you just made peace with your past.
If it didn't, tear that page out of your story but, don't throw it away just, keep it separate. Maybe someday, you will understand why you were put in that situation. Maybe, universe has something planned for you. Trust the timing of universe and move on. If you don't understand it till the end of the time, well, at least you had a bit of excitement in your book. Otherwise, it would have been too boring and no one really likes a story without some overdramatic ending.
Remember, we are freaks, we are fragile and life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced.
