What people say about you is a reflection of their own insecurities.
Today's crazy tip: When you are feeling really sad, stick a pencil in between your mouth for like 10 minutes.
Good morning people. Just for your information, I am in high school sophomore year so, just in case I forget to write or my post is a bit delayed (I'll try my best to avoid both of these), don't blame me.
Before we get started, I would be pleased if you put all of your insecurities aside. Everyone is insecure about something. Be it looks, weight, friends, family, labels, marks and the list is endless. World is indeed a scary place, but it's beautiful in a weird way. According to me, imperfection and insecurities are two sides of a same coin. You will never know you are imperfect until someone shows you that and then insecurity starts filling in. You are imperfect and that is great. I have known many people who are scared of their imperfections and they want to get rid of them. My question is why? Why do you want to loose a part of yourself just because someone told you it's not good. They are not the one's who run your life. If it's your vehicle and you are the one driving it, why do want someone else to tell you where to go. That, sir/ma'am is a crime. You can improve your imperfections but the minute you decide to to get rid of them, you start loosing yourself.
Your imperfections are what make you, you. Some people may not like that part of you but, if you do, don't loose it. If you don't like that part, give me the reason. Make a list of all the things you are insecure about (It will be a long list, I would be surprised if it wasn't) and then burn it or flush it or do anything to get rid of it. Then catch up with the people who you like to be around, trust me it is magical. Also try journaling for 7 days. Thank me later.
Remember, we are freaks, we are fragile and life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced.
Goodbye and see you next Sunday.
Love Scarlett 😊
